At the edge, between design and computation

The Design & Computation Group is a research group present at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. It is an interdisciplinary group committed to create a strong contribution to the research areas at the edge between design and computation, applying computational techniques to design problems on a variety of scales: from product to urban design, from architecture to regional planning.

The research at the Design & Computation Group explores the potential of computational approaches to design and provides innovative and effective strategies to enable researchers and scholars in building solid methodologies for their design processes or research projects.
